Using Ukeloa
Ukeloa is for music teachers who manage their own studios. Children do not create accounts. By creating a studio, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
Your account and studio information
Keep your sign-in details and private portal and calendar links secure. You are responsible for the information and files you upload, having permission to use them, and deciding what to share with families. Do not use Ukeloa for unlawful activity or to upload content you have no right to use.
Lessons and studio policies
Teachers control schedules, cancellations, makeup policies, reminders and studio policies. Makeup credits are lesson credits, not money. Group lesson attendance and makeup credits are tracked per student. Public inquiry forms ask about lessons; they do not book a lesson automatically.
Practice plans and reminders
AI practice plans are generated from lesson notes and may contain mistakes. Review them before sharing. Families follow the teacher’s lesson and practice guidance. Teachers are responsible for permission to send reminders, including text reminders through their own Twilio number.
Trials and subscriptions
New studios receive a 14-day card-free Pro trial, including 10 AI practice plans. Pro includes up to 60 AI practice plans per month. After the trial, the studio stays on Free unless the teacher subscribes. Stripe bills Ukeloa subscriptions. Manage or cancel your subscription in My Subscription; deleting an account does not replace cancelling a paid subscription.
Lesson payments
Ukeloa never processes lesson payments. Any lesson prices, payment instructions, charges, payments, refunds and disputes are between the teacher and family. Scheduling, cancelling and makeup credits do not automatically change money or charges.
Availability and closing an account
We work to keep Ukeloa available but cannot promise uninterrupted service, instant calendar refreshes or error-free AI output. Deleting your account removes the studio’s stored data and files. Contact support@ukeloa.com with questions about the service or these terms.
